William Zakroff

William Y. Zakroff (“Zak”) has been a management consultant, financial advisor, and entrepreneur since founding the Zakroff Group in 1984. His consulting engagements have focused on strategic assessments, corporate planning, and business development projects for both public and private companies with particular emphasis on the chemical, energy, marine services, and petroleum industries. Mr. Zakroff has worked on a number of global strategic assessments and business development projects covering all regions of the world and has been a financial advisor and investor on a number of early stage venture capital transactions.
Mr. Zakroff is presently CEO and Founder of Marinus Power LLC, a Houston, Texas based marine renewable energy firm focused on the development of tidal and wave energy projects and technologies. He is also a Director of SyncWave Systems Inc., a Marinus related venture based in Vancouver, Canada, a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Hardide plc, an Oxford, UK based industrial coatings company traded on the AIM / London Stock Exchange, and an Advisory Board member of Ingenero, Inc., a Mumbai, India based engineering company serving the worldwide petroleum and petrochemical industries.
Mr. Zakroff began his career in the Engineered Materials Group of the General Electric Company where he held management positions in strategic planning and corporate development before becoming General Manager of a new venture he established in advanced technical ceramics. International projects at GE included the formation of joint ventures in Japan and South Africa and responsibility for a major manufacturing installation in Russia.
Mr. Zakroff received an MBA with Distinction from the Kellogg School of at Northwestern University and a BS in Chemistry with Distinction from the University of New Mexico.
Dr. Wissam Rabadi

Dr. Wissam Rabadi is a co-founder of the Zakroff Group and serves as Director of the Mid-East Region with expertise in computing, communications, entrepreneurship, strategic planning, business development, and commercialization of science and technology. Dr. Rabadi is also a Director of the Amman office of the Arab Science and Technology Foundation.
Dr. Rabadi was previously Director of Research and Business Development at the Electronic Systems Group, a JV company with King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau that provides technical solutions in support of Jordan’s defense and security needs. He began his career at Texas Instruments where he led efforts to establish several new multi-million dollar businesses serving vertical markets such as digital photography, internet music, electronic security, optical and visual communications, and bio-medical applications. He also managed major customer accounts including HP, Kodak, Siemens, Nortel, Sony, Sharp and Cisco.
Dr. Rabadi has been a Professor of Computer Engineering at the American University in Dubai, a visiting professor at the University of Houston, and has served as President of the Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee, Orlando Chapter. He is a senior member of IEEE, a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Institute of Management Accountants, the Houston World Affair Council, and the Middle East Institute and the Arab American Institute.
Dr. Rabadi holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan, a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin.
